I am an elementary teacher who loves to sew in my spare time. I make many baby quilts, and have recently been making some wall quilts as well. All fabric window coverings in my home are homesewn, and I love new challenges. I take on new projects for the reason of learning new techniques and being able to proudly say that I made it myself.
My husband’s children and my child are grown now and we live alone on a farm in the middle the country. I have too many sewing machines, but can’t seem to let go of any of them. Most are Singer, many are mechanical, but I’ve allowed myself to own two electronic machines. What’s next? Nobody knows, yet, but many will find out when I do!
